Verify a receipt yourself

You do not need this site to check a burn. These commands fetch the transaction from a public Solana node and the source rows from the U.S. Treasury, then redo the arithmetic. Each one shows the output to expect.

You need a terminal with curl, jq, bc and awk. Nothing here signs anything or needs a wallet.

This is the featured receipt from the practice run on devnet, where tokens have no money value. This page switches to the first mainnet receipt once one exists in the evidence files.

  1. Step 1 of 5

Fetch the transaction and check that it succeeded

An empty error means the transaction succeeded.

    curl -s https://api.devnet.solana.com -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"getTransaction","params":["3gBYyBbz5U1MA2Ut71vfzevMCWaBgAX4NjGymghbnhrnBxB94ADeenr3hvKVHrmfJmBy1JHxgY3k2SJNWiDkziVU",{"maxSupportedTransactionVersion":0}]}' | jq '.result.meta.err'

    Expected output

    null
  2. Step 2 of 5

    Read the memo

The program writes the receipt into the transaction as a memo. It carries the day, both source figures, the units, the burn pool, what was spent and what was burned.

    curl -s https://api.devnet.solana.com -H 'content-type: application/json' -d '{"jsonrpc":"2.0","id":1,"method":"getTransaction","params":["3gBYyBbz5U1MA2Ut71vfzevMCWaBgAX4NjGymghbnhrnBxB94ADeenr3hvKVHrmfJmBy1JHxgY3k2SJNWiDkziVU",{"maxSupportedTransactionVersion":0}]}' | jq -r '.result.meta.logMessages[] | select(startswith("Program log: Memo"))'

    Expected output

    Program log: Memo (len 248): "DEBT|2026-10-06|src=fiscaldata.treasury.gov debt_to_penny|prev=40249104431078.48|now=40273024579219.17|delta=23920148140.69|units=23|pool=505583582|spent=20132384|got=4010874.872446|burn=4010874.872446|swap=5RoGVSCTBmcT|rules=sha256:b9ad29b48ef1|v2"
  3. Step 3 of 5

    Fetch the two Treasury rows

The rule reads the total public debt for the day and the business day before it.

    curl -s 'https://api.fiscaldata.treasury.gov/services/api/fiscal_service/v2/accounting/od/debt_to_penny?fields=record_date,tot_pub_debt_out_amt&filter=record_date:in:(2026-10-05,2026-10-06)&sort=record_date' | jq -r '.data[] | "\(.record_date) \(.tot_pub_debt_out_amt)"'

    Expected output

    2026-10-05 40249104431078.48
    2026-10-06 40273024579219.17
  4. Step 4 of 5

    Work out the units

One unit for each full step of the rule, here each full $1 billion of increase.

    echo '(40273024579219.17 - 40249104431078.48) / 1000000000' | bc

    Expected output

    23
  5. Step 5 of 5

Work out what the rule asked to spend, in lamports

The rule spends a share of the burn pool for each unit, compounded. One SOL is a billion lamports.

    awk 'BEGIN { printf "%.0f\n", 505583582 * (1 - 0.99^23) }'

    Expected output

    104345230

Compare

  • The units and the two figures in the memo match what you fetched.
  • The rule's amount matches the receipt's rule spend.

The receipt's rule spend is 104,345,230 lamports. It spent 20,132,384 lamports and burned 4010874.872446 $DEFICIT.

The program spent less than the rule asked, because one burn may spend at most a set share of the trading pool's SOL. The rest carried into the next burn, and the receipt says so.
